At PaySmarter, your privacy is our primary design constraint. We built this tool to be the most helpful reward assistant while collecting as little data as possible.

The Golden Rule: We will never ask for your credit card number, CVV, OTP, or bank login credentials.

What we collect

1. Email Address: Only if you choose to create an account to sync your cards across devices.

2. Card Names: The names of the cards you manually add (e.g., "HDFC Millennia").

3. Transaction Inputs: The amount and merchant you enter into the calculator to receive a recommendation.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide reward recommendations and improve the accuracy of our logic engine. We do not sell your personal data to banks or third parties.

Security

Since we do not store sensitive financial details, the risk of data compromise is minimal. However, we use industry-standard encryption for all data stored in our databases.
